Last week we had the privilege of visiting the Sierra Hope Fertility Clinic in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Founded by the inspiring Jestina Jalloh-Jamboria in 2022. This clinic is the first and only fertility center in the country.
Despite significant challenges, such as frequent power outages and the need to import all equipment and consumables, Jestina and her team are making an incredible impact.
We are honored to join the team this week to assist with egg retrieval procedures for all patients currently undergoing stimulation.
Seeing such dedication in the face of adversity is truly humbling as well as inspiring! It highlights the importance of perseverance and innovation in healthcare.
Let’s celebrate pioneers like Jestina, who are transforming lives and expanding access to fertility care!
