A visitor from Japan

A visitor from Japan 1080 1080 Berliner Samenbank: Spendersamen, Samenspender, Kinderwunsch

Yesterday, we were delighted to host Prof. Tobias Bauer from Kumamoto University in Japan for the second time at Berliner Samenbank. And he even brought Japanese sweets to share!

Prof. Bauer’s research dives deep into the ethical, social, legal and psychological dimensions of sperm donation.
What sets his work apart is its global outlook: by comparing Germany, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand, he reveals how different cultural norms and legal systems shape donor conception experiences and family relationships.
